Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr. and mostly known as Dolphy, is the King of Comedy in the Philippines. Sometimes people would call him Pidol or Golay. He was born on July 25, 1928, and died on July 10, 2012. He was known for entertaining people with his comedic acts on stage, radio, television, and movies.
To honor Dolphy, the late President Benigno “Ninoy,” Aquino III declared July 13, 2012, as “National Day of Remembrance” because of his outstanding contribution to the Philippine Entertainment Industry.

Palito
The real name of Palito is Reynaldo Alfredo Hipolito. He was an actor and a slapstick comedian in the Philippines. He was then a dishwasher in a restaurant frequented by movie stars. Lauro Santiago of Santiago Productions then discovered him at the age of 21.
The height of his career is between 1970-1980. He starred in many movies, sitcoms, and TV series and was known by many Filipinos for his great comedic acts.

Pugo and Togo
Pugo and Togo are some of the best comedy teams in the country. The dynamic duo is composed of Mariano Contreras and Andres Solomon. Contreras starred as Pugo, while Solomon portrayed Togo.

Vic Sotto also owns a TV production company M-Zet Productions. Vic started his career in the entertainment industry as a folk song singer and a guitarist.

Pablito Sarmiento, Jr.

Ricardo Castro
