Unlike other freelance marketplaces, OnlineJobs has a subscription-based platform wherein you have to pay for a nominal payment to be allowed to contact a freelancer.


If you’re into work from home and telecommuting jobs, FlexJobs is highly recommended as it is one of the leading job boards. Their platform offers diverse opportunities for small and big companies, especially those looking for virtual workers.

This marketplace is best for those looking for part-time or full-time remote jobs. If you are an employer, you can post a job offer with a job description and wait for freelancers to contact you. Workers in this marketplace need to pay a nominal membership fee to access the listing.


One of the original freelance sites is Guru which has been around the market since 1997. It works quite the same as other freelance marketplaces and websites. You may create a job post and receive bids from several freelancers that match the skill set you are looking for. The nice thing about their platform is that it comes with a reward program to earn a Guru Loyalty Dollar that you may use for future purposes.


One of the world’s largest freelance marketplaces with over seven million users is freelance.com. This marketplace is previously known as GetAFreelancer.com; their site follows a similar model to Upwork. Employers may create job posts, and workers can bid on them. DynamiteJobs.co was established in 2017. Their platform offers a news freelance marketplace. DynamiteJobs.co is somewhat similar to Free Up, where workers are pre-vetted for their skills. The site mainly attracts younger and more entrepreneurial crowds.

Their platforms are free of access for freelancers, but employers may charge $299 per job posting.
